Service Description

This forest program runs from September 2022 - June 2023 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Children may attend once or twice per week. Session cost is $40, billed once per month in advance. $25 registration fee added to first moths fees. Please register accordingly. Forest Friends Forest school is play-based, nature education, for preschoolers. Together we explore and learn all about life cycles and our ecosystem, build light shelters and forage for some of natures delights. Daily program includes opening circle, hiking, storytelling, free play, nature art, snack time and closing circle. Your child will have lots of fun developing friendships and connecting with the earth! “Children’s experiences with learning,” says The Child and Nature Alliance of Canada, “are defined by their capacity for inspiration, innate sense of exploration, strong desire to learn through play, and their level of engagement with their surroundings.”
